September 3, 2014 – Demolition work of the ARC site, located at the northeast corner of Janes Avenue and 83rd Street, began on Tuesday, September 2. Demolition of the site is part of the effort to construct the Woodridge Park District’s Athletic Recreation Center (ARC) at the site. The Park District has submitted for zoning approvals for the development of the ARC and plans are currently under review with the Village. A public hearing on the zoning aspect of the project will be scheduled for early fall.
