In the District’s ongoing efforts to seek alternative funds to offset Jubilee Point Park costs for environmental best management practice initiatives and proposed Phase 2 park development plans, the District is pleased to announce “Trees Forever” awarded a $3,000 tree planting grant per the Illinois Recover, Replant & Restore program. To date, a total of $880,000 in grant funds has been secured and earmarked to improve Jubilee Point Park.
