Woodridge Winterfest

Celebrate the magic of the season at Woodridge Winterfest! Join us for an enchanting evening filled with holiday cheer as the Village of Woodridge lights up their dazzling 20-foot Christmas tree! Enjoy heartwarming moments with Santa and Mrs. Claus, shop from over 20 talented vendors at the vibrant maker’s market, and indulge in delicious eats from food trucks! With festive holiday music, a cozy children’s craft area, and meet-and-greets with beloved characters like Anna, Elsa, and Rudolph, there’s something for everyone! Hosted by the Village of Woodridge, the Woodridge Park District, the Woodridge Public Library, the Woodridge Special Events Committee, and Curated Collections Events, Woodridge Winterfest promises to be a celebration you won’t want to miss.
Parking
- Town Centre parking lot at 5 Plaza Drive which includes ample parking in front of Village Hall, the Library, and Public Works
- Across the street from the event at the Fred C. Hohnke Community Center located at 2600 Center Drive
- Behind the event at Thomas Jefferson Jr. High School located at 7200 Janes Ave, Woodridge, IL 60517

4:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Maker’s Market brought to you by Curated Collections Events featuring 20+ vendors
4:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Delicious food and non-alcoholic beverage options available for purchase from three food trucks! Featuring Lola’s Churros & Hot Chocolate, Tievoli Pizza, and Toasty Cheese. The first 500 visitors at Lola’s Churros will receive a free hot chocolate courtesy of the Village of Woodridge
4:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Keep an eye out for the roaming photo booth brought to you by the Woodridge Park District
4:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Santa Comes to Woodridge has moved to a new location! Join the Woodridge Special Events Committee for a festive photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus inside Village Hall. A staff member will be on hand to help capture your special moments, but please note that a professional photographer will not be available. Families are encouraged to bring their own devices to take photos with Santa. Children are also welcome to drop off letters to Santa
4:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Check out some live reindeer! Brought to you by the Woodridge Park District
4:30 PM – 5:15 PM: Live holiday music inside the Woodridge Public Library
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Join the Woodridge Public Library at their children’s craft area inside the library
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Be on the lookout for Rudolph who is available for photo opportunities and meet and greets!
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Join Mayor Gina Cunningham and our Village Board for a tree and campus lighting ceremony in the center of Kagann Plaza
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Anna & Elsa meet and greet and photo opportunity inside the Woodridge Public Library
7:15 PM – 8:00 PM: Live holiday music inside the Woodridge Public Library
General Event Information
- Woodridge Winterfest is a free and family-friendly event.
- Woodridge Winterfest is both an indoor and outdoor event. Heated areas include the Maker’s Market tent, inside the Woodridge Public Library, and inside Village Hall where Santa Comes to Woodridge will be held.
- No pets, bikes, weapons, coolers, or outside food/beverages are allowed in the event.
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at this event and will not be sold on-site. Anyone found in possession of alcohol or under the influence will be asked to leave by the Woodridge Police Department.
- The Maker’s Market portion of this event is being handled by Curated Collections Events. Vendor applications for this event are closed.
- Parking will be available at Village Hall/Town Centre, the Fred C. Hohnke Community Center, and Thomas Jefferson Jr. High School
